But It's Not Real!

I took the kids to the Y pool the other day (boy, were my arms tired from holding the kids!) I suggested to Surina to bring her bath toys to play in the water. One of them is a fishing pole. We were swimming and I noticed Surina wasn't using the reel part of the pole. I told her, "Surina, why don't you turn the handle on the reel?" Surina replied, "But Mom, it's not real. It's fake!" I said, "No, this part is called a reel, R E E L." I showed her what I was talking about. "Mom, it's not real!" "Never mind, my dear. Let's just continue swimming."
