Pets' Adventures

You would think pets are not a problem compared to children. Well, all within a week or 2, we had some excitement with pets. First, Kumal (with face patches) was not himself-very limp, not eating, etc. so begrudingly, we took him to the vet. He had to stay overnight and possibly had a liver infection. After having a heart attack over the doctor bill, we brought him home and Mallory took care of him. He is back to himself. After Kumal's doctor visit, someone forgot to put the collar on Hershey and she ran away...looking for her buddies. After some searching (in the dark, for a dark dog...hmmm?), Feta called the SPCA and sure enough, she was picked up. She had fun in the dog jail, but yesterday, we took her to the vet (aren't we frequent visitors!), she had the kennel cough, a very contagious dog virus (thank you SPCA). Poor dog-looking depressed and having me yell at her all the time, to go to the kitchen because she looks like she is going to throw up.

And to think, this was only the pets. The humans; I had to go to the doctor 4 times in a week's span because I had a hematoma. Rowan had to go to his regular check up and soon, next week. Feta had to go to his for a consultative visit. I think we are in the wrong field of career...don't you think so??
